The New Year of 2022

Updated: Feb 16, 2022

As we bring in the new year of 2022, we wish you and yours the very best. 2021 has been a challenging year for all of us, and we are so grateful for our community, and we thank you for your continued support of the historic Daniels Farmstead. Whether you became a new member, visited us at one of our events or farmers markets, explored our all-new website or volunteered in the garden or at Doris’s Kitchen, your support has made the world of difference for the future of the Daniels Farmstead.

As we look to the new year and in addition to the continued day to day upkeep, 2022 will have an ambitious year of projects at the Daniels Farmstead, including the goal of a functioning Cider Mill Press using the original reconditioned Model T Engine, and restoration and repair of the main farmhouse windows including application of protective and historically approved storm windows. Additional projects include restoration work on the Corn Crib and Chicken House.

These projects are not attainable without the continued support through donations, membership and volunteers. Please consider supporting the Daniels Farmstead, as we work together to preserve this unique and treasured historical resource. Your support continues to provide a place for the community to gather, celebrate, enjoy, and learn the values of an 18th and 19th century working farm and its traditions.

Be sure to stay tuned to our 2022 calendar for details regarding our wonderful line-up of events. We will be hosting the traditional Farmers’ Market every Sunday from July 3 to October 2, in addition, we have a number of fun and family-oriented events planned at the Daniels Farmstead including "Fourth at the Farm", "Apple Festival", "Antique Truck, Tractor and Car Show", "Astronomy Evening" and the introduction of a classic "Movie Night Series".

The Daniels Farmstead Foundation Inc is a non-profit organization under section 501C-3 of the IRS Code.
