Thank you to everyone for helping make the 5th Annual Apple Festival at Daniels Farmstead hosted this past Sunday, September 19th, a fun day of celebration!
We had many wonderful guests attend the day! A special thank you to Senator Ryan Fattman for overseeing the Pie Contest, State Representative Mike Soter for his opening remarks, and our pie contest judges: Blackstone Selectmen Ryan Chamberland, Blackstone Vice Chairman Selectmen Bob Kluchevitz, Blackstone Police Chief Greg Gilmore and Blackstone Town Clerk Tara Sullivan.
So many wonderful pies were submitted to the apple pie contest this year, making it very difficult for our judges. We thank each and everyone who submitted a pie!
Winner of the Traditional Apple Pie Category was Colleen Roy of Grafton. We had a tie for the winner(s) of the Create Apple Pie Category; both Kathy Desjardin of Uxbridge and Rebecca Young of Northbridge.
