Astronomy Evening at the Farm

Postponed from Saturday, August 14th to Saturday, September 11th, due to mother natures excessive heat and abundance of haze in the sky.  September and October night skies are some of the best viewing nights.  

On Saturday, September 11th, please join us for a relaxing evening at the Daniels Farmstead... under the stars.  Evening begins at 6:00pm, enjoy time to picnic at the farm, accompanied by live music.   The Tour of the Summer Night Sky, hosted by guest speaker Noelle Jobson, begins at approximately 7:30pm.  Topics include Stellar Navigation, Cosmology, the Milk Way and the Galactic Center... and more!

Pre-order a delicious picnic basket from Galliford's Restaurant.  www.gallifords.com   508.928.0928.  Picnic Basket orders must be placed prior to 5pm on September 10th for pick up at Galliford's Restaurant on September 11th at approximately 5:45pm.    Galliford's Restaurant is located less than 10 minute ride from Daniels Farmstead.

Please feel free to bring along binoculars or a telescope.  We also recommend to bring along lawn chairs or blankets for your comfort during the evening.

Free parking is located across the street from the Daniels Farmstead main house and barn.
