The Daniels Farmstead Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2003 to preserve a unique historical resource that has survived the modern age in tact. This remarkable find is due to the efforts of Doris King Daniels and her family to preserve the Farm's history and legacy. The Foundation's focus is to provide a place for people to gather, celebrate, and learn the values of a working farm and its traditions. It is our purpose to protect and preserve the rich historically significant farm and buildings located on pristine New England soil, restore the farm to its former splendor, and operate a living museum where local historians, schools, and the general public can learn about the New England Farm life from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The Farmstead continues its historic use through active hayfield and farm management. In addition, the Preservation Architectural firm of Chenot & Associates was selected by bid process to correct the state of disrepair of the Farmhouse. The results of the first phase of their contract: schematic drawings, a preliminary project manual of outline specifications, and an action plan comprising an initial cost estimate is funded in part through grants from The National Trust for Historic Preservation, the John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor Commission and the Massachusetts Historic Commission.

We gratefully acknowledge the interest and support from the various Blackstone Town agencies and Preservation MASS. Historic New England holds the Preservation Restriction on this unique property.

Family $35.00 (up to two adults living at the same adress and their children or grandchildren under 18 yrs of age)

Couple $30.00

Individual $25.00

Senior / College Student (with ID) $20

Memberships are tax deductible. 

Membership benefits include special E-notices and periodic member newsletters during the course of the year.  At the moment, there is a membership committee forming to put together a membership benefits package!
